Hypercom Set up Procedures

Conversion All Terminals Check Equipment configuration first.The file needs to be added by the credit card providor. The file name is either NDC ACH CHECK or NDC CONVERSION. Most of the parameters are the defaults except for the following three. The 8 digit merchant number, Auth & batch phones 800-341-5675, and the 'CHECK SVC ID' which sets the prompt flags it is 828080. These will need to be given to who ever builds the file. Insure the Configuration check. is run through the reader. Both T7 and IC 5500/5700 use the same configuration check. The one with a picture of a 5700 saying Hypercom for Magtek.

VISANET T 7 P 'Guarantee'

If your credit card provider uses Visanet have them set local programming to on. Once done reinitialize the terminal and proceed to the table below.

All Others T 7 P 'Guarantee'

With any other carrier the set up is done by the credit card provider. The table labeled ALL OTHERS describes what they need to enter in the TERM MASTER file. Once entered the terminal will need to be reinitialized.

ICE 5700 'Guarantee'
